The 16th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2023) will begin today (March 31) at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium. A stat-filled IPL 2023 opening ceremony precedes the first contest.

Rashmika Mandanna, Tamannah Bhatia, Arijit Singh, and other celebrities will perform at the IPL 2023 opening event.

It will be a glamorous occasion attended by over 1 lakh spectators at the world’s largest cricket stadium.

Tamannah expressed her excitement to appear at the IPL 2023 opening ceremony in a short video posted on the IPL’s official Twitter handle.

“I’ve loved performing on stage since the beginning of my career.” But I do believe that every time you act on stage, it is exhilarating, and there is almost this nervous energy that is unavoidable. Just for the IPL, and in 2023, where there has been so much, the epidemic, it has been a difficult two years for everyone. Having all of this come together and the chance to perform with Arijit (Singh) and Rashmika (Mandanna) is something I am very excited about. “I’m ecstatic,” Tamannah said

“It is going to be an amazing show,” she added.

Rashmika stated in the same video, “I have always wanted to go and witness a match but I never got the opportunity.” However, I will be playing in the (IPL 2023) opening ceremony today. So I’m like, “I did it.”

The opening ceremony will begin at 6 p.m. and will be aired live on Star Sports network, while live streaming will be available on JioCinema.

The IPL 2023 opening ceremony will be followed by the tournament’s first match, which will pit reigning champion Gujarat Titans (GT) against Chennai Super Kings. (CSK).
